Chennai Port hits all-time high container volume, crosses 50 million tonnes milestone

Chennai Port has achieved a record-high container volume in the month of February 20205 by handling 1.66 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) of containers The port has also surpassed the 50 million tonnes mark in total cargo handling, reflecting strong operational performance and growing trade activity.
