The Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) invited bids for dredging of approach channel leading to Third Chemical Berth at Pir Pau on December 4, 2025. The last date for bid submission is December 29, 2025.
The work is expected to be completed in 120 days at an estimated cost of Rs 550.5 million.
The scope of work involves deepening/dredging approach channel leading to third chemical berth at Pir Pau from existing level of about (-) 9.0 m CD to (-) 10.5 m CD by deploying suitable cutter suction dredger (CSD) having cutter power not less than 2700 KW for dredging and any other dredger suitable dredger for soil dredging. Dredging is through silt or silty clay, sand and rock etc.
