The west coast accounts for the majority share of POL traffic at the Indian ports. The west coast Indian ports handled 297 mt of POL traffic during 2020-21 compared to 353 mt during 2019-20. The share of west coast ports in the total POL traffic has slightly declined since 2016-17.
