IIT-Madras unveils India’s first indigenous vessel-traffic system for ports

Researchers at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-Madras) have developed and deployed the country’s first fully indigenous vessel traffic management system (VTMS) for ports, through its National Technology Centre for Ports, Waterways and Coasts (NTCPWC).
