The Government of Tamil Nadu (GoTN), the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the Chennai Port Trust (ChPT) and the Indian Navy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for development of the Chennai Port-Maduravoyal Double-Decker Elevated Highway Project on May 16, 2022.
