The Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK) invited Request for Qualification (RfQ) cum Request for Proposal (RfP) bids for Integrated Development of Outer Terminal and Berth No. 11 and 12 at Haldia Dock Complex (HDC) on February 7, 2026. The last date for bid submission is March 26, 2026.
The work is expected to be completed in 36 months.
The project involves integrated development of outer Terminal and Berth No. 11 and 12 at Haldia Dock Complex in the state of West Bengal for handling containers and multipurpose clean cargo (dry and break bulk) through design finance build operate transfer (DBFOT) mode under public private partnership (PPP) model with a concessioning period of 30 years. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 6.96 billion.
