Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL) has acquired a majority share in Whizzard, a supplier of last-mile delivery services. MLL’s existing last-mile delivery business and electric vehicle-based delivery services will gain from the acquisition. Whizzard, based in Hyderabad, runs a digital commerce and last-mile delivery intra-city distribution network. It allows for the smooth handling of 60 million shipments per year from various segments. With rising digital adoption, expanding delivery networks, and the emergence of fast commerce, last-mile delivery and fulfilment continues to receive strong tailwinds. This partnership will extend and strengthen our existing position in e-commerce and other segments for our consumers.
