MoPSW reviewed the ongoing projects, including the important Kaladan multi modal transport project in Mizoram from Inland Waterways Authority, Transport Department, Public Works Department (PWD) of Mizoram to develop the inland water transport in Aizwal on March 02, 2022. The Ministry emphasised Mizoram’s role in the development of a strong inland water system in Northeast India.
