Adani Ports’ Mundra Port has handled 105 million metric tonnes (mmt) of cargo during the first two quarters of FY2026-27, marking a new milestone for the country’s largest commercial port. The port also achieved a national record in container handling during September 2026. Its Container Terminal 3 (CT3) handled 309,955 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in the month, surpassing its previous record of 307,329 TEUs achieved in August 2026. The performance highlights Mundra’s growing role in India’s trade and export supply chains. The port attributed the achievement to capacity expansion, technology-enabled operations and efficient planning.
